Pot-of-Gold with Leprechaun

RAW GAMES

RAndom Walk Games, or RAW Games, are yet again based on a random walk but the object now on that walk is anything but the fictitious price of a fictitious asset.

A sample of our upcoming bets……..all come with real-time Cash Out.

Rocket & Black Hole

THE BLACK HOLE

In the section on Virtual Financials Betting it was stated that RWC is creating a derivative of BoxBet. Instead of the player choosing the dimensions and place of a box, they instead choose the centre and diameter of a series of concentric circles.

The asset price is now a rocket travelling through space with a background of planets, stars, asteroids, etc. to provide a bit of atmosphere! 🥴 And “Yes!’, you got it, the centre circle is a Black Hole and the yellow-dashed concentric circles are the Black Hole’s gravitational fields. The bet is made up of 5 x Stake / 5 individual bets, e.g. a $100 bet is $20 each for 4 gravity circles plus $20 for the Black Hole itself.

If the player chooses ‘Over’ then the rocket has to endeavour to clear the top of the outside gravity circle. If it doesn’t then the ‘Stage 1’ $20 is lost. But if the rocket subsequently proceeds passed the Black Hole the player has 4 x $20 winning bets.

The above would be a Low/Medium Volatility game; an accy version would be a High Volatility game.

The Late Pharaoh

THE LATE PHARAOH

He would be late for his own funeral! They have buried his treasure but forgot about him…….. The pharaoh is on a race to find the tunnel down to his vault before the tomb raiders beat him to his treasure.

The object in this game, the pharaoh, is at the intersection of two ‘prices’ travelling on two adjacent sides. The game is a derivation of 2ndLIFFE’s Roulette.

Where the intersection of the two invisible ‘share prices’ is at the end of the bet signals where the entrance to the vault is.

The cloth enables all the side bets, e.g. which side of the pyramid is the vault, which level is the vault entrance on, etc..

As the pharaoh climbs around the outside of the pyramid, moving from one of the four sides to another, the pyramid will always turn to show different aspects, e.g. generally where the pharaoh currently is and on which shelf and sector the vault entrance is.

Pig on Skis

THE SLALOM PORKER

On VFB-Pro there is a bet which requires the price to end up between two target prices, a lower target price and a higher target price. The trajectory of the price is irrelevant to the success of the bet.

Now assume those two target prices were the ‘Gate’ of a downhill slalom course. And, of course, the price is now a skiing pig!

Variation 1: As soon as the skiing pig misses a gate then the bet has lost. This bet would be an accumulator. This variation would require the next gate to be immediately underneath the skiing pig as it successfully bisects a gate; clearly if the gate is missed there is no need for further gates. A Medium/High Volatility bet.

Variation 2: In this instance, if there were, say, 10 gates, then a $100 bet would consist of 10 x $10 bets. This variation would require the next gate to be situated directly beneath the skiing pig as it passes through the plane of a gate. Low Volatility bet.

Other mathematical modelling of other Winter Olympics games is ongoing.

Scylla & Charybdis

SCYLLA & CHARYBDIS

The Odyssey will supply many a themed bet.

For example, the Double No-Touch can, with a little imagination, be construed as a monster (Scylla) and a violent whirlpool (Charybdis) that a boat (asset price) has to travel between.

Unlike the Downhill Slalom, the path of the boat is critical since once the monster or whirlpool are touched the boat is sunk (or eaten!).

Another version of the ‘double crash’ bet!

RICK O'SHAY

RICK O’SHAY’s ALLEYWAY WALTZ

Rick O’Shay after a good day at the races.

The alleyway consists of five stages: it has four warehouse doors prior to the end of the bet, plus the end of the bet.

How many doors plus end of alley will Rick successfully get passed without crashing into a wall of the alleyway?

The available bets are:

    1. Ricochet where he has to hit both sides,

    2. Double No-Touch where he’s not allowed to hit either side,

    3. Left ToW,

    4. Right ToW

    5. Left Crash, and

    6. Right Crash.

TUG-of-WAR

The Knock-In, Knock-Out (KIKO) exotic option can be interpreted as the Tug-of-War game. As one team wins (Knocks-In) the other team is Knocked-Out.
